If the ZIPPO® lighter was officially created in 1933, its current form is closer to the 1945-1950 version (rounded lid and integrated hinge).

The lighters are still made in the United States in Bradford, Pennsylvania. They are controlled throughout the stages of their manufacturing, with particular attention to respecting the famous and characteristic ZIPPO® “click”.
