ZIPPO® may be one of the most iconic products of American design.

If the ZIPPO® lighter was officially created in 1933, its current form is closer to the 1945-1950 version (rounded lid and integrated hinge).

The lighters are still made in the United States in Bradford, Pennsylvania. They are controlled throughout the stages of their manufacturing, with particular attention to respecting the famous and characteristic ZIPPO® “click”.

If the storm lighter obtained its first acclaim during the Second World War, it became an icon thanks to its appearance in numerous films and also as musical accompaniment with Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Serge Gainsbourg...

Today the legendary ZIPPO® has gone beyond the sole function of producing a flame, it is a true collector's item and there are around ten international collectors' clubs which meet every year in Bradford.

If your ZIPPO® lighter does not work, it is because you forgot to refill the fuel or change the stone, and if this is not the case, no worries, the lighters are always guaranteed for life.
