Framed 48-star American flag from HMP from a former Hollywood movie props store.
The flag of the United States, stars and stripes, was created after the declaration of American independence.
The 48-star version was in service for 47 years from July 4, 1912 to July 3, 1959. The current version has 50 stars since the entry of Alaska and Hawaii.
The flags are printed versions that our supplier believed would have been used in wide shots of the movie Saving Private Ryan in 1998.
They are weathered, sometimes stained, and some even have small perforations and tears.
The flags format 16.15 X 10.6 inch (41 X 27 cm) are delivered framed in entomological boxes format 19.7 X 15.7 inch (50 X 40 cm). The set, ready to put on a shelf or hang on the wall, will be a beautiful decorative piece for any fan of the United States of America.
