KING FLAMINGO MOTEL Key tag Weston Florida
The KING FLAMINGO MOTEL, a charming little 18-room motel, opened in 1959, that embodied the spirit of a bygone America. Nestled in the picturesque town of Weston, it offered its guests a welcoming, family-friendly environment. Unfortunately, a devastating fire in 1972, during restoration work, reduced this iconic place to ashes. Poorly insured by its owners, the motel was never able to rise from its ashes.

FOUR ACES MOTEL Key tag Las Vegas
Exclusive for LE COMPTOIR AMERICAIN
This replica of the room key ring is inspired by a model found in a flea market (pictured), testifying to a time when small details mattered. Like many American motel key rings, its characteristic diamond shape was designed to be bulky enough that guests would not forget it when they left. If they forgot it, they simply had to drop the key ring in any mailbox, and the American Post Office would take care of sending it back to the motel. This key ring is much more than a simple object; it is a fragment of memory, a nostalgic echo of a vanished America, where hospitality and simplicity reigned supreme.
A bit of history
Motel key rings: a little bit of vintage 70s, a bit of the history of Motels and the United States, because there will soon be none left, increasingly replaced by digital codes and magnetic cards. A real "madeleine de Proust" this key ring for all those who have traveled to the United States. A unique design, a mix of a super clean look and the very pragmatic and functional approach that the Americans are masters of. The little "US vintage" touch that will help you identify your keys thanks to the different colors.
Marking on one side.
Comes with a split ring.
